Being Open

With a new year comes new opportunities. During this month’s meditation, we will be focusing on becoming more open to opportunity and experiences. The new year can be a fresh start to anything, not just the calendar.

  • Tool: Breath
  • Inhale: Openness
  • Exhale: Fear

Instructions:

To start find your comfortable meditation seat and begin to inhale and exhale through the nose. With any new year, it is important to be open to new experiences and change. The calendar is getting a fresh start so why can’t you? As you inhale image your body, mind, and spirit is welcoming all that is new. As you exhale image you are releasing any fear or resistance to that openness. Continue this cycle for the duration of your meditation.
